      Overview

      This position is for the Quonset Point Quality Assurance Analyst reporting to the Supervisor of Quality Assurance Engineering. This position supports the Quality Management System and Special Emphasis Programs (SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC and FBW SCS) for work accomplished at the Quonset Point Facility.

      The QA Analyst will assist in supporting the shipment of major modules and Kits from Quonset to Groton, Newport News or the UK by updating records in the shipyard discrepancy control system (7G). This position will also support the QA management team with weekly metrics. As well as, the management of Corrective Action Requests via TSM and the Commitment Database.

      Responsibilities of this role include:

      • Process and track D938 Shipout responsibilities.
      • Support various metric reporting within MS Word, Excel, Power-Point, Power BI, and Adobe.
      • Attention to detail and prioritization is essential due to the review and processing of multiple tasks at a time.
      • Interfaces with various levels of management
      • As directed, support Internal and External audits: NAVSEA audits (Phase 1, Phase II, Functional, and NAVSEA 08), ISO 9001, etc.

      This position located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.

      Qualifications

      Required:

      • High School Diploma/GED
      • 0-4 years of administrative/clerical experience
      • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and/or overtime
      • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

      Preferred:

      • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
      • Experience with EB’s electronic systems (Electronic Desktop, 7G, MRPII, CPJ, MQS, JCALS, Plateau, MS Office Suite)
