      Discover Impactful Work:

      As a Quality Assurance Auditor I - Labs, you will help to ensure that all of the information we provide to clients and regulatory agencies is accurate and complete.

      A day in the Life:

      • Conduct and/or lead a variety of client, internal or GxP audits and regulatory inspections as requested by senior management.
      • Provide GxP consultation and support to PPD project teams and external clients.
      • Lead process audits and may participate as a co-auditor in more complex system audits
      • Serve as a resource to operational departments on audit or quality assurance subject matter.
      • Prepare and present audit findings and/or other related information at departmental, internal operations or client meetings.
      • Conduct QA review and approval of quality documents

      Keys to Success:

      Education

      • Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as biology, biochemistry, immunology, chemistry, molecular biology or forensic science preferred; Associates' degree and proven experience is acceptable in lieu of a four-year degree

      Experience

      • Previous QA or lab experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 1-2 years’)

      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

      • Familiar with applicable GxP and appropriate regional regulations (e.g., FDA and other regulatory agency guidelines)
      • Detailed working knowledge of SOPs
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including appropriate use of scientific terminology)
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Able to work independently or in a team
      • Good problem-solving abilities
      • Proven organization and time management skills
      • Proven flexibility and adaptability

      Physical Requirements / Work Environment

      • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people
      • Work upright and stationary and/or standing for typical working hours.
      • Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
      • Ability to work in non-traditional environments
      • Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency.
      • May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements, including infectious agents, typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments.
      • Able to prioritize and balance multiple projects or activities while maintaining performance goals
