Job Description
- Req#: R14556
- Test products in order to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity, performing functional sign off.
- Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product.
- Participate in all aspects of testing: integration, functional, regression, load/performance, automation and system testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for complex environments - there is a strong emphasis on automated testing for this role.
- Manage and troubleshoot defects to resolution while proactively identifying risks to management
- Maintain timely reports on status of projects, potential technical problems and any other relevant details
- Coordinate between client and other teams in Nice, London, Istanbul and Bangalore.
- Our real-time data platform, leveraging on Kafka and MongoDB to build a powerful, micro-service based, streaming architecture
- Our Rule Engine module based on drools (along with its Angular JS User Interface) in charge of doing real-time analysis of data streams and triggering operational use cases accordingly
- Our Developer Studios built on top of the real-time data platform and leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies to enable customers to extend and customize our platform capabilities
- All components being cloud ready, making the most of Red Hat Openshift technology
- A degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, or other significant industry experience
- Experience with QA automation tools including scripting. E.g. RobotFramework.
- Hands on experience with Continuous Integration tools
- Experience with test management solutions (e.g. ALM Octane)
- Experience testing microservice based architecture
- Experience testing Microsoft Azure technologies would be advantageous (e.g. Azure functions, Logic apps or Event hubs)
- Experience testing infrastructure as code would be advantageous (Terraform)
- Strong customer focus
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- ISEB Foundation level or above
- SAFE/ AGILE / HPQC experience
- Functional knowledge of the Airline industry
- Amadeus product knowledge

This platform touches all segments of our business such as reservations, ticketing, departure control, inventory or even airlines proprietary systems. It allows airlines to react in real-time to their operations, creating and running key use cases in a modern and highly serviceable environment. The key focus of this team is on the openness of our Fast Data capabilities – imagine giving a customer full self-serviceability over enhancing their products both at the core and the edge using developer Studios and toolkits. As a Quality Assurance engineer, you will be accountable for the quality and testing of the product functionalities based on the solutions agreed with stakeholders.
