Job Description

- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; experienced with requirements engineering to create unique test scenarios, participate in test design and reviews and test sign off process.
- Fully competent in own area of expertise; making test estimations and discussing test strategy with test leads.
- Design and producing test artifacts like, Test sign-off report, conduct test reviews, release checklists.
- Modifies, maintains, and creates regression tests, including manual, scripted, and automated.
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux and Android devices, wrt testing of Web applications, Database and APIs.
- Understanding of networking protocols like, SSL, TCP, HTTP, SHA etc and system/network administration knowledge (DHCP, Firewall, Wireless).
- Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data required evolution of identifiable factors; Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selection methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Work is independent and collaborative in nature.
- Provides regular updates to manage on project/account status.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related and relevant to functional area.
- 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Good understanding of EMV tags, application processing and interactions, POS Certification concept, ISO8583 Specification.
- Understanding of EMV simulators – Astrex, CertifyNow, CertPro, ATS, VTS, MAS, MDFS.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with developers, users, and peers in design and feedback sessions, as well as third-party certification teams.
- Experience in requirements engineering and development design reviews.
- Experience with client-server and P2P applications.
- Experience with SOA applications including Wed Service experience.
- Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Android, Linux, iOS).
- Strong experience writing moderately complex SQL queries.
- Test tools (JIRA, Confluence, Katalon, Eggplant, Jmeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with load testing tools, Jmeter, loadrunner etc.
- Test Automation experience using web-framework, selenium, python, Katalon or Eggplant.
- Experience working with Postman and other API test tools.
- Understanding of compliance mandates and execute with 3rd party hosts, Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover.
- Knowledge in cards and payments domain, merchant acquiring, payment gateway, real-time authorizations, reconciliations.
- Understanding of Retail, Travel and Entertainment, e-Commerce businesses.
