      The Role

      • designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to validate functionality, data accuracy, completeness, and integrity within various software applications.
      • Work closely with the Lead QA maintaining good lines of communication.
      • Design and implement test cases and test scripts to verify system functionality and reliability.
      • Document test results, defects, and testing activities in detail.
      • Work closely with software developers, data engineers, and product managers to understand system architecture and requirements.
      • Communicate effectively with team members to discuss testing strategies, findings, and recommendations.
      • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
      • Perform exploratory testing to uncover functional anomalies, inconsistencies, and edge cases.
      • Demonstrate agility, ability to think outside the box and challenge established development processes and procedures.
      • Keen to learn new things and explore like AI tools.

      The Requirements

      Essential:

      • A strong individual drive to learn, challenge yourself and grow as part of an experienced global development team.
      • Minimum 5+ years QA experience in Manual Functional testing with hands-on Automation knowledge
      • Basic Knowledge of Selenium, and any Language like C#, Java
      • Experience with the SDLC including maintenance and Agile methodologies.
      • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a broader project team
      • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
      • Comfortable working with teams based in differing time zones.

      Desirable:

      • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation and data validation.
      • Good to have API testing knowledge.
      • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
      • Demonstratable Knowledge in C# or Python
      • Stay updated on industry trends, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies relevant to QA.
      • ISTQB or equivalent certification
      • Keen to learn new technologies like AI Tools
      • Experience working in a financial services organization, preferably with exposure to the insurance industry/insurance broking. Where this directly relevant experience is not available, we will be looking for an ability to rapidly become effective in a new, unfamiliar environment.
