      QC Analyst (Level 1)

      Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

      The Role

      As a QC Analyst in a highly regulated environment, you will be accountable and responsible for the day to day execution of analytical and quality system / support related tasks relating to the QC area workload. It is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-moving operation, for a Global leading pharmaceutical company. In this role you'll:

      • Be responsible for the day to day execution of analytical testing in conformance with all relevant safety and quality requirements.
      • Ensure that relevant data is checked, approved, recorded and available for inspection in accordance with Good Manufacturing & Good Laboratory Practices.
      • Understand and contribute to appropriate key performance indicators.
      • Support the continuous development of wider QC operations and continuous improvement programmes.
      • Support the application and maintenance of laboratory quality systems.
      • Provide clear and effective communication throughout the supply chain.

      You’ll succeed if you have the following skills and qualifications…

      • Have some understanding of either chemistry or biology testing methods and procedures.
      • Have close attention to detail, and are keen and able to carry out product analysis.
      • Are proficient in raw material testing techniques.
      • Are committed to quality, have a strong sense of ownership and take responsibility for raising standards.
