- Operate and maintain HPLC units.
- Prepare and run samples following established protocols, ensuring accurate maintenance and calibration of instruments.
- Prepare eluent and required reagents with high accuracy.
- Perform chemical and physical analyses on a variety of samples, including food products and intermediate samples.
- Conduct tests such as organoleptic evaluations, pH, acidity titrations, sodium, nitrate/nitrite analyses, Brix, moisture, specific gravity, pulp content, and more.
- Perform required calculations and maintain spreadsheets.
- Conduct microbiological analyses on various products, following aseptic techniques in media preparation, sample collection, plating, and bacteria identification.
- Log samples and pertinent information, adhering to proper documentation and record-keeping procedures.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Job Description
As a QC Lab Technician, you will focus on analytical laboratory activities, including specific testing involving HPLC. Additionally, you will participate in a variety of food quality control analytical and microbiological support activities. Your work will be performed through the application of standard laboratory methods, practices, procedures, policies, regulations, and the proper use of laboratory materials and equipment.

Work Environment
The position is based in a Quality Control Laboratory. The work may involve occasional exposure to odors, dusts/powders, and noise. The dress code includes wearing a hairnet, facial hair covering (if applicable), hearing protection, mask, lab coat, and goggles. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
