Hourly Pay Rate: $23-$29.62

Completes investigations for Reportable Abuse & Neglect, Reportable Significant Incidents, Serious Notable Occurrences, and Minor Notable Occurrences reported by People Inc. at OPWDD Certified Programs. Investigates other incidents as requested. Assists with identifying quality issues relating to incident reporting and investigations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes the investigation process in an efficient and effective manner.
• Ensures documentation of evidence and completes investigation reports and memos relating to incidents.
• With Quality Improvement Director, identifies quality issues relating to incident reporting and investigation process.
• Responsible for ensuring confidential and potentially sensitive information is processed, maintained and utilized according to procedures in a strict confidential manner.
• Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
• Adheres to investigation due dates per regulation and agency policy.
• Provides prompt written investigation when the need is identified by Quality Improvement Assistant Director.
• Provides accelerated investigative activities when needed.
• Completes other Quality Improvement related activities as assigned.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related area.
• 3 years related experience.
• Working knowledge of developmental disabilities.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple reviews.
• Must have sound judgment, flexibility and dependability.
• Computer knowledge and skills.
