Job Description
- Req#: 566518
- Ensure the delivery of comprehensive Active Treatment programs tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Maintain full compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as agency policies, governing the operation of ICF/DD-H residential facilities.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and actively contribute to the design and improvement of client services.
- Coordinate individualized ISPs, including development of Skills Training Data Sheets, Quarterly Reports, Individual Service Plans, Strengths and Needs Assessments, and Functional Assessments.
- Provide direct care to adults with severe to profound disabilities, including those exhibiting aggressive or assaultive behaviors, using approved Positive Behavior Support (PABS) and Behavior Emergency Safety Training (BEST) techniques, with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program and organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in social science or a related field.
- Minimum of one year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Two years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Acceptable DMV record and ability to obtain a Class B Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)
TERI Inc. is a nonprofit organization with over four decades of experience serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We deliver innovative programs and compassionate care across education, residential services, and vocational opportunities. Our mission is rooted in respect, dignity, and empowering individuals to lead meaningful, independent lives.
The QIDP plays a key leadership role reporting to the Director of Adult Services, overseeing the day-to-day operations and supervision of assigned residential group homes. This includes managing staff scheduling, providing on-site training and support, ensuring quality assurance, developing and evaluating resident programs, and directly supervising and evaluating all program staff. The QIDP also handles important administrative duties and steps in providing direct client care as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
