      YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

      Responsible for managing day to day Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QSHE) activities; monitoring and maintaining QSHE systems; developing and implementing safety initiatives and ensuring the highest safety standards are met and are aligned to Brenntag’s strategic direction and that QSHE platforms are developed and managed to best practice standards for office and warehouse/ manufacturing environment

      • Responsible for QSHE Management System
      • Proactively manage QSHE performance
      • Ownership of QSHE standards, procedures and audits ensuring ongoing compliance to company and regulatory requirements
      • Provide sound technical and legislative advice and expertise on all HSE matters
      • Manage incident/accident reporting and ensure reported to Corporate as required
      • Prepare monthly Lost Time Injury Reporting (LTIR) to local and regional management
      • Prepare Monthly QSHE Reports
      • Conduct and co-ordinate QSHE Committee meetings, activities and minutes
      • Undertake QSHE audits, analysing results, preparing reports and taking corrective action as required
      • Lead safety investigations, prepare reports and take actions as required
      • Maintain and manage hazard reporting, ensure risks are appropriately managed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
      • Provide training, coaching and development activities as required to support compliance
      • Ensure up to date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company QHSE requirements
      • Lead the internal audit program for ANZ as per QSHE Committee approved schedule ensuring results and non-conformances are reported to management as required
      • Provide regulatory support as required
      • Provide Project Integration support on all QSHE related matters as required
      • In conjunction with management:
        • Assist in maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & HACCP certifications
        • Ensure processes and procedures needed for the Integrated Management System are established, implemented and
        • maintained in accordance with the requirements of Brenntag and standards
        • Manage the non-conformance process and database (monitor, analyse, measure, report and provide expertise)
        • Assist with maintaining IMS systems
        • Assist with providing monthly reporting and feedback as required
        • Implement actions required by auditee
        • Manage QSHE documents in accordance with ISO requirements
        • Assist with coordinating ISO audits for Australia and New Zealand
        • Ensure all business activities are conducted according to policies and procedures specified in the Integrated Management Systems

      YOUR PROFILE

      • Tertiary qualifications in QSHE and/or related QSHE qualifications 5+ years’ experience in a similar QSHE role with understanding of legislative and compliance requirements
      • Relevant certifications/knowledge in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and HACCP certifications
      • Working knowledge/experience in chemical manufacturing / distribution industry or similar fields advantageous
      • Knowledge of ERP systems including in-depth understanding of data structure
      • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills – particularly Excel
