      Job summary

      We are currently recruiting a Dental Nurse to work at our Outreach Site at Kenworthy Road this will be a full time post working 8.45am -5.15pm Monday to Friday this site provides outreach services for our undergraduate students.

      The Royal London Dental Hospital at Barts Health and is a leading specialist hospital for first-class dental and oral health care & provides clinical excellence in all aspects of dentistry.

      Barts Health currently provides care across different sites: Whitechapel, Leytonstone, Stratford & Isle of Dogs and Hackney.

      Our Dental Nurses are provided with a generous CPD package and regular training via our clinical audits. We have lots of extended training opportunities and lots of our nurses have been able to complete recognised NEBDN training courses.

      Main duties of the job

      At the start of service nurses will be allowed 27 days of annual leave and paid bank holidays. This annual leave increases with service to 29 days after 5years and 33 days after 10years.

      The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

      1. Compassionate and caring approach to patients and service users
      2. Safe and effective Infection Prevention Control
      3. Flexibility in their approach to work
      4. Use of own initiative
      5. Working effectively as part of the team
      6. Basic IT skills
      7. Pioritising and organising workload

      Candidates must have a good level of experience working as a Qualified Dental Nurse. Registration with the GDC is mandatory.

      Previous experience of working within a Dental Hospital or similar setting, is desirable.

      A Post Dental Qualification or keen interest to undergo training, would be an advantage.
