      Job summary

      Are you looking for a new challenge? Wye Valley NHS Trust are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic person to join our diagnostics team and take a lead in the accreditation of the brand new Community Diagnostic Centre due to open later this Summer. The Community Diagnostic Centre will incorporate Imaging (Plain X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI), a range of cardiorespiratory investigations including echocardiography, ECG and rhythm monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, spirometry, FeNO, lung function tests, simple field tests, sleep investigations, oximetry, blood gas analysis and pathology services in a "one stop" location to obtain diagnostic information in cancer, cardiac, respiratory, musculo-skeletal and other conditions.       This is a key leadership role within Wye Valley Trust to lead on Accreditation, Complianceand Quality Assurance. This role will be crucial in achieving and maintaining the variousaccreditations required at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that will come on line in2025 as well as ensuring compliance with the Trusts governance and risk framework. Thispost holder will have a key role in developing improvement plans and developing animprovement culture.

      Main duties of the job

      Lead on the accreditation assessment for all services based at the CDC e.g. QualityStandards for Imaging (QSI) for Radiology, Improving Quality in PhysiologicalServices (IQIPS) for Heart and Lung Services. Ensure that documentation for suchaccreditation and annual audits are prepared.

      Responsible for implementing a robust document control/quality managementsystem, I Passport.

      The post holder will be responsible for delivering the Quality and Clinical GovernanceAgenda for the CDC
