      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee data quality management for the cancer registry and train staff on quality standards
      - Conduct regular audits of cases for quality purposes and follow up with staff on areas for improvement
      - Manage a team of certified and non-certified staff, monitoring workflow, performance, and productivity
      - Interview, hire, train, and supervise staff, including administering performance reviews
      - Maintain expertise in abstraction and independently code patient abstracts according to oncology coding requirements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or a related field
      - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
      - Experience in health information management or tumor registry preferred
      - Proven ability to manage and train staff effectively
      - Strong knowledge of oncology coding requirements and standards

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 4-8 years of relevant experience in a health-related field
      - Certification in health information management or related area
      - Experience with cancer registry data management and reporting
      - Familiarity with state and national cancer reporting standards
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
