      This is an exciting opportunity that sits within the Client Oversight and Support function of Quilter Cheviot, providing detailed analysis of our investment management team’s clients relationships and strategy recommendations. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established team of analysts in the
      assessment of client files and interactions, identifying potential risks, and developing new standards for
      the business. The QA Team is at the heart of the first line of defence having gained a reputation for raising the bar when it comes to client servicing by providing regular feedback and training to the front office.
      I am look for an individual who will be comfortable and confident dealing with senior managers, investment managers and their support staff, and other departments throughout QC. This role offers insight into the front office as well as the first and second lines of defence, and there will be opportunity
      for interdepartmental collaboration.

      The role will require someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines. A reasonable understanding of the workings of a Discretionary Fund Manager would be useful to help frame how, why, and where we fit in the business however, Training will be provided as will a comprehensive induction program.

      You will be responsible for assessing the work undertaken by our investment management teams, using a file review template and a rating system which feeds directly into the front office remuneration scheme. The work we do carries a high level of significance and helps identify any areas of concern, providing opportunity to suggest and implement changes to procedures and processes.

      Key tasks will involve completing client file reviews and documenting the findings, reporting remedial actions to the responsible parties and tracking them to through completion. Any areas of concern will need to be escalated to the Quality Assurance Manager and appropriate senior managers.

      You will be handling highly confidential and often sensitive data and will therefore have to ensure appropriate steps are taken to maintain this is processed in the correct manner.

      The role may require you to attend various forums and working groups either alongside the QA Manager or as a representative of the team and therefore we are looking for someone who is adaptable and capable of interacting with various people from all levels of the business.

      Strong IT skills and proficiency in using Microsoft packages is vital for the role as you will be dealing with the organisation and collation of management information and presentations. Ideally, we are looking for an individual that has experience working in a financial/investment based environment.
