What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, document, and execute test cases for ongoing software releases and new software products
- Assist in all phases and types of software testing, including regression, performance, and new feature testing
- Work closely with developers to reproduce errors and resolve issues
- Document, track, and update bugs during the testing cycle using bug documentation software
- Participate in team meetings to discuss goals, tasks, and tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in application software design and testing required
- Practical knowledge of relational database theory; experience with SQL Server Query Analyzer is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with new test-related tools to assist in QA testing
- Familiarity with setup/configuration of QA testing environments
- Experience in coordinating software distribution to clients
