      As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll take a leading role in identifying control weaknesses through risk-based and end-to-end testing of processes. You'll focus on reviewing process activities, ensuring Financial Crime controls are in line with the annual plan and methodology.

      Quality Assurance (QA) activities should be completed consistently to a high standard within a time sensitive and highly regulated environment. You'll be fully committed to Santander’s clear mission to Deter, Detect and Disrupt Financial Crime, in order to protect our customers, communities and colleagues.

      • Providing contribution to process enhancements and improvement in Quality

      • Supporting Key stakeholders to identify process gaps and/or training requirements

      • Providing an independent holistic review of procedures

      • Communicating feedback to management on emerging trends and issues from the conducted QA activities

      What you’ll bring:

      These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

      • Experience in an assurance, risk or control role with a Financial Crime focus

      • Extensive experience in Financial Crime QA or remediation role

      • Banking experience

      It would also be nice for you to have:

      • Experience in one of the following: Crypto-currency/EDD (Enhance Due Diligence)/High Net Worth Individuals, NBFI (Non-Banking financial Institutions), SARU (Suspicious Activity Reporting Unit), CORU (Court Order Response Unit), Transactional Monitoring

      • Demonstrable experience using Santander/Cater Allen financial crime systems and tools

      • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders when discussing QA results

      • Awareness of the Financial Crime life cycle

      What else you need to know:

      Our preferred location for this 12-month fixed-term contract is Milton Keynes, but we’ll also consider locating the role in Bradford or Glasgow.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
