      9 month contract position

      Reporting to the QA Supervisor, the QA coordinator will perform quality audits and in-process checks on the co-pack production line.

      • Perform regular quality checks on the production floor to ensure production meets client's standards for accuracy.
      • Record and report on the outcomes of the quality audits to the QA Supervisor.
      • Work closely with all departments to ensure staff are working in compliance with client expectations and GMP’s.
      • Ensure GMP requirements and regulations per operating procedures are being respected.
      • Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and effectively.
      • Assist with the preparation of external quality audits (i.e.: Health Canada).
      • Assist in creating and maintaining an environment that promotes positive communication within the facility as well as fostering teamwork within the operation.
      • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
      • Other duties as required.

      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

      • QA Certification, degree in food science, pharmaceutical or related discipline from a recognized College.
      • 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
      • Some experience with quality standards and GMP in a production environment is an asset.
