Job Description
- Req#: 548579
- Review manufacturing processes throughout the facility to ensure a quality product
- Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
- Troubleshoot causes of defects
- Understand and identify proper welds, paint and fasteners
- Interpret Engineering Prints
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering prints
- Demonstrates working familiarity with precision measuring tools
- Ability to communicate accurately both written and verbal
- Thrive in fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Have good organizational skills
- Be highly self-motivated
- Previous quality assurance experience helpful

Quality Assurance Inspector – 1st Shift – Salina, KS
Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality Control department for our CE Facility in Salina, KS.
This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. , with overtime on Fridays, as required.
