Responsible for developing and continually improving food safety, food defence and quality programs
Providing training to site personnel, for all the Quality Assurance programs including:
HACCP and Prerequisite Programs (Lead the HACCP/Food Safety team, participate in Food Safety risk assessment, Coordinate the monitoring and verification activities)
Responsible for developing and continually improving allergen management programs and controls
Responsible for conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for both internal and external audit non-conformances in conjunction with operations / key stakeholders
Direct contact with external contacts for site certifications/audits management (BRC, Non-GMO, VLOG, Halal and Kosher, RSPO, Vegan and any others as specified by Global Quality)
You will create effective EHQS programs, provide training for the plant, working with your Global EHQS counterparts
You will be the technical specialist helping with the resolution of EHSQ issues, recommending control measures to reduce the risk of hazards
You will become the leader in our strategic direction for Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Food Safety for the Plant.
A degree in Food Science and Technology (or similar) or proven experience working in Quality Assurance Management
knowledge of Health and Safety Legal requirements (D.Lgs. 81/2008) and EHSQ Management Systems (ISO 45001; ISO 14001, FSSC22000 HACCP, GMPs)
Good knowledge of IT systems (Office, SAP)

What you’ll be doing
As the QA Manager for our plant in Noto, you will lead on all Quality Systems Management tasks whilst we provide training in Environmental, Health & Safety to become our EHQS Manager within 18 months. This is the opportunity for you to develop your career within our Global ingredients company.
You will work closely with our Plant Manager to develop your skill set and work in partnership with our Global EHQS (Environmental, Health, Quality & Safety) Managers to create and conduct training programs, audits, risk assessments, reports and reviews for our employees and site.
