      Job Description Our client, a leading food service company, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager with solid Quality Assurance experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities: 1) Carry out QA policies, procedures, and directives in the development of and compliance with company, customer, and government expectations while providing feedback and required to follow-up to ensure proper corrective action 2) Guide the plant's SQF certification program 3) Perform customer audits and annual SQF audits 4) Develop and maintain the HACCP plan and train plant personnel on quality programs 5) Communicate to USDA regarding preoperational or operational inspections 6) Develop and maintain quality programs, such as pest control, self-inspection, supplier management, safety, microbial testing and defense 7) Conduct pre-shipment review, CCPs, validation studies, and report on deficiencies for GMPs, HACCP and SSOPs 8) Perform microbiological tests on finished products, environmental and direct food contact surfaces 9) Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department 10) Direct inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products 11) Investigate and responds to customer complaints 12) Implement changes and write corrective actions for complaints 13) Work with the Plant and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds 14) Work with vendors to ensure the quality of all purchased products, associated equipment and materials meet established quality standards 15) Perform other duties as assigned Critical Requirements 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field 2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please) 3) Recent experience in the food service industry is strongly preferred 4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality assurance management This position is critical to the team and requires a talent who is both driven and highly skilled.
