- Conduct customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis per NPAA customer complaint procedure.
- Conduct the lab work for complaint confirmation step and investigations with Technical.
- Use quality management system knowledge to establish the stable controlled quality processes.
- Interact with all related departments support teams / customers to resolve problems
- Interact with suppliers to learn raw material variations and problem solving.
- Travels to customer to observe end-use of sold products / to vendor to conduct supplier audit.
- Prepare internal reports and drafts for external presentations, adhering to project schedule.
- College degree in a science-related field required, for advanced positions
- Experience:
- Typically, 2+ years of applicable experience
- Able to handle paints and chemicals, including isocyanates, using required PPE.
- Ability and desire to learn and improve.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Basic computer Skills, office/word/excel (advance skills preferred).
- Experience in ISO9001 Quality management System preferred.
- Desirable: Lean Six Sigma

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an experienced position responsible for assisting the QA Team in meeting the customers’ demands and helping ensure that NPAA remains the market leader in automotive coatings. This team member utilizes root cause analysis skills and customer complaint investigation system / know how to investigate the problems the customers experience and to conduct the internal continuous improvement projects. This position is building key customer/supplier and strong interdepartmental relationships within NPAA. The Specialist also supports QA / QMS projects and provides QA training for new hires and associate QA Specialist.
