- You will organize, administer, and evaluate the maintenance quality assurance program for the Corrosion Repair Facility (CRF), designed to ensure that the CRF meets it responsibilities for product quality.
- You will inspect all types of equipment being processed at the CRF for corrosion and body repair.
- You will maintain program and administrative reference material, project files and relevant background documents and make available policies, procedures, and written instructions
- You will prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required
- You will coordinate the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information.
- You will assist the CRF Manager in the elimination or minimization of human injury and property and productivity losses.
- You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate the Corrosion Repair Facility (CRF) safety program.
- You will perform periodic reviews of directives pertaining to the Safety Program and provide recommendations to the CRF Manger for any updates or changes.
- You will conduct and documents periodic surveys of CRF facilities and activities. Performs job site surveys for safety hazards.
- You will determine corrective actions to eliminate or control unsafe acts or conditions identified in the surveys.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You must complete the OSHA 10 training and certification within 1 year of employment or be scheduled to attend within the first year of employment.
- You must be able to pass a pre-employment and annual physical.
- You are required to have knowledge and application of special safety devices and equipment (e.g., toxic chemical protective clothing and respirators) and strict adherence to safe work processes in known toxic or hazardous environments.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive knowledge of established techniques, regulations, and requirements related to a quality functional program; Knowledge of TM 4750-15/_, the USMC Technical Manual for Painting, Coating, Underbody, and Registration Marking for Marine Corps Combat and Tactical Equipment and *Knowledge of a wide range of safety and occupational health concepts, principles and practices, laws, and regulations pertinent to the complex responsibilities involved in the operating, directing and evaluation of a safety and occupational health program.
