- You will develop, implement and maintain effective surveillance plans designed to evaluate contractor product assurance, manufacturing, quality, and processing systems for compliance with contractual requirements.
- You will monitor processing operations to ensure contractor and government adherence to processing requirements and assure missile hardware is processed in a consistent manner, and in accordance with approved procedures.
- You will negotiate and assist contractors and government personnel to resolve technical and quality assurance/quality control issues.
- You will investigate and analyze technical and quality systems, hardware and documentation to include data collection for trend analysis to determine causes of discrepancies/deficiencies and initiate corrective action.
- You will establish, implement, and maintain a monitoring system to provide assurance, visibility, and confidence that hardware is processed in a consistent and acceptable manner, and that systems are in place to adequately implement requirements.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least three years of general experience, 1 year which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 pay band (GS-04 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: applying practical quality assurance methods and processes (e.g. interpreting technical data, data analysis, report writing, interpreting regulations) to ensure compliance with contract requirements and engineering specifications during the processing, testing, repair, or assembly of missile systems and components.
