As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist/Regression Testing Lead within PNC's Tempus Technologies organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

      In this role you will be responsible for participation in code quality assurance. Additionally, you will be responsible for manual & automated testing, creating regression test processes and the evolution of test standards. You will be a key member of an Agile Scrum team where you will work closely with developers, scrum masters & other business stakeholders. This position involves understanding business requirements to allow you to create test plans and scripts that intelligently test against business requirements.

      Key Responsibilities:
      · Identifying and developing strategies and techniques to improve the quality, capability, and efficiency of testing in the areas of increment, regression, and update release testing, both manual and automated
      · Leading test planning for Increment testing; so creating test plans for new product increments from the highest-level business requirements of a project through to the detailed functional testing requirements
      · Leading strategies for ensuring test data quality, relevancy, and completeness, as well as including review of data output as part of our test script portfolio
      · And owning the creation, maintenance, and retirement strategy for the portfolio of regression test scripts and the process for regression testing, both manual and automated, positive and negative.

      Preferred Experience:
      · Demonstrated Analytical, Problem solving and Interpersonal Skill
      · Experience developing test strategies & plans
      · Hands-on experience in driving the QA release testing cycle End to end
      · Deep understanding of life cycle of QA software testing (Functional, SIT, UAT)
      · Hands on experience with JAVA-Selenium based Automation Framework
      · Hands on experience with web service, & API testing
      · Ability to be self-directed and manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis
      · Excellent communication Skills and Presentation Skills
      · BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or closely related field preferred

      Job Description

      • Leads and reports on reviews and tests of software systems and products to verify compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
      • Leads the effort to work with software developers to resolves issues of incompliance through system modification, reconfiguration or workarounds. Establishes objectives for testing cycles. Develops test scenarios for unit, process, function, integration and acceptance testing .
      • Leads the team in planning and estimating quality assurance support requirements for new products, new functions and new components. Leads audits and reviews .
      • Oversees and leads the efforts to monitor adherence to quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep of software products. Monitors effectiveness of the assurance process and tools .
      • Oversees the tracking of quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts. Oversees team members responsible for testing and inspection of products to determine compliance with specifications .

      Technical Documentation Management – Knowledge of, and experience in management of the development, delivery and maintenance of technology product documentation and publications.

      Work Experience

      Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
