      AMSOIL is looking to hire a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist. The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that all manufactured and purchased products meet the company's quality standards. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and collaborating closely with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate is process-focused, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency while supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and performing internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin
      Core Responsibilities:
      • Product Quality Management:
      ◦ Develop and implement quality assurance plans and inspection criteria for manufactured products.
      ◦ Identify nonconformities, document defects, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
      • Purchased Items Management:
      ◦ Establish inspection criteria for incoming materials and work with suppliers to address quality concerns.
      • QMS Support and Documentation:
      ◦ Maintain accurate quality documentation and prepare quality reports for management.
      ◦ Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
      • Continuous Improvement:
      ◦ Participate in initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
      ◦ Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
      • Training and Development:
      ◦ Train employees on quality assurance procedures and promote a culture of quality awareness.
      Position Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field.
      • Five years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing or equivalent education/experience.
      • Preferred certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma).
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
      • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
      • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement techniques.

      • Minimum Starting Rate: $58,800 with opportunity for more depending on experience.
