      Sensient is hiring a Quality Control Technician I - Second shift to join our team. If you are passionate about quality and food safety, we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for the QC functions at the Amboy, IL facility. This role will be unique as you will be exposed to all facets of the QC department roles to assist where needed.

      We have a Monday through Friday 2nd Shift opening (2:00PM – 10:30PM); hours and shifts may vary due to business needs; may occasionally cover weekend hours.

      What you’ll do:

      • Ensure high-quality products enter and exit the lab
      • Assist with lab window coverage, testing products to ensure they meet specifications.
      • Problem-solve and communicate with external labs and departments as needed.
      • Manage retains and controls for the area, and assist with the Raw Material Program.

      What you’ll bring:

      • A strong attention to detail and familiarity with documentation review and physical lab testing.
      • Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset with the intention of filling in gaps to ensure efficient work flows and testing.
      • Demonstrated strong organizational and communication (oral/written) skills.

      Wage Range:

      The hourly rate for this position is $21.08 - $28.85 per hour USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
