- Perform testing on cards, readers, and capillary tubes.
- Conduct regular performance checks and verify material compliance.
- Support additional testing and quality assurance tasks as needed.
- Post-secondary education in science, chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working with blood samples; phlebotomy experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of lab safety protocols.
- Flexible with shift schedules, including overnights and on-call support.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Technically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot lab equipment.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to distinguish between colors.

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the Quality Control department by performing tests on cards, readers, and capillary tubes, ensuring all materials meet company and regulatory standards. You’ll work under the guidance of the Quality Control Manager or Supervisor in a modern, state-of-the-art laboratory setting.

Work Environment
You’ll work in a separate lab space, away from the production floor, alongside a dedicated team of 15. Shifts are 10 hours long and may occur on weekdays or weekends. This role includes tasks such as walking, bending, stretching, and lifting boxes up to 30 lbs. Regular exposure to screened blood samples is part of the daily responsibilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
