      Quality Control / Graphic Production Artist

      We are currently looking for a Quality Control / Graphic Production Artist to join our team. Our objective is to produce weekly flyers and small catalogues for a prominent Canadian Retail Company in both print and digital platforms. Page counts can range from 16 - 60 pages flyers. Our account is very fast paced with weekly delivery due dates. Pages and content (image, copy, art, pricing) are assembled using a variety of tools/programs and are expected to adhere to high quality standards with on-time delivery.

      • Generate an electronic layout using Adobe Creative Suite Applications, internal tools and resources and assemble the digital content including images, copy and art with the use of tools, templates, guidelines/standards in an efficient, pleasing and timely manner, and to the client’s specifications.

      • Apply revisions to InDesign documents from both internal and external sources using annotations in JobAssistant and prepare the document for final use in print and/or digital and generates a PDF.

      • Using a variety of tools and checklists, take measures to ensure all work is created to client and company standards and is free of errors.

      • Once all pages are reviewed and approved, PDFs are then prepped and digitally sent to press.

      • Promote, support and maintain all continuous improvement initiatives related to your team and the company.


      When your expertise drives us.


      • Post secondary diploma or degree (or work experience equivalent) in computer graphics or print production

      • 5+ years of experience as a graphic layout artist

      • Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign CC 2024 or higher

      • Solid understanding of the MAC Operating System

      • Computer savvy with the ability to learn new tools and software quickly

      • Ability to offer additional assistance (paid overtime) during busy periods

      • Asset: knowledge of the Print and Digital Industries
