Job Description
- Req#: 102345
- Manage the quality control process for all products manufactured at BASF Agricultural Specialities Ltd.
- Provide direction to the QC team to accomplish daily goals with an emphasis on the customer and key stakeholders, promoting the company's safety and quality approach to ensure our products, people and environment are kept safe.
- Ensure efficient and timely hands on testing of all raw material, final product, in-process control, packaging and effluent batches. Monitoring trends in data and reporting any issues directly to Quality Management.
- Assist Quality Manager in the maintenance of the Quality Management System as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science, (or equivalent) which included Microbiology.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, including experience in implementing or managing ISO 9001:2015 systems and procedures. (Experience in ISO 9001:2015 audits desirable).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, planning, organising, statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy is essential (MS Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel) and experience with SAP or similar business software would also be advantageous.
The BASF Agricultural Specialities Limited production site in Littlehampton, produces industry leading biological pest control products formulated from beneficial nematodes. These products are used by farmers and growers across the globe in agricultural, protected ornamental and home and garden markets.
