- Execute quality processes/projects within own area under guidance.
- Plan and coordinate data-gathering activities (e.g., patient satisfaction surveys, focus groups, suggestion boxes) related to process/quality.
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation and share insights and trends with relevant stakeholders to identify suitable actions.
- Identify and implement quality improvement activities within area, and conduct periodic follow-up.
- Coordinate compliance efforts within assigned teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting with familiarity with standards of care, medical record documentation, and exposure to medical terminology.
- Experience with quality improvement, utilization management, risk reduction/safety management, and related issues preferred.
- Experience working with accreditation and regulatory standards and their application to patient care.
- Knowledge of quality data visualization and data analysis metrics preferred
- Experience with development of key quality indicators strongly preferred
- Experience with Tableau data visualization preferred
- Statistical process control analysis strongly preferred
The Quality Data Analyst and Visualization Specialist Responsible for monitoring and participating in the quality improvement activities at St Jude, with strong focus on collecting and summarizing data; data analysis (especially, statistical process control analysis) and visualization; and management of dashboards, reports, and tracking systems for the Office of Quality and Patient Safety.
Works closely with teams across the organization to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions that enhance the overall quality standards at St Jude. Assists teams across the institution in development and maintenance of key quality indicators relevant to patient populations. Understands and communicates key concepts associated with a quality management system, including process standardization/special cause, quality assurance, and quality control.

This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
