As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of an agile team supporting software development delivery services. You will work with stakeholders to drive quality throughout the entire SDLC process by ensuring that all code meets quality standards, all code is built and tested in non-production environments before promotion to Production environments and that testing is automated so that every commit is tested without intervention.

• Collaborate with other Quality Engineers to handle cross-team testing dependencies.
• Design and develop automated tests, scripts, and tools to support software development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Conduct system testing to ensure that automated solutions are functioning as expected and meet business requirements.
• Continuously monitor and improve automated systems and processes to optimize performance and minimize errors.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of automation tools and systems.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of related experience including:
  • Automation testing
  • Experience with programming in Java
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG and Cucumber
  • Experience in backend testing, API testing, UI testing, and DB queries
  • Experience with test methodologies, software release cycle and test effort estimation
  • Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management (JIRA/Confluence).
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred:

• Experience supporting US federal government contracts
• Experience testing Cloud-based architectures
• Experience with Load or Performance testing, with tools such as JMeter
• Experience with Agile release methodology

In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $122,000 to $133,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
