Job Description

- Final Inspection with customer/testing team / Third Parties.
- Lead to supervise and perform quality control operations specially for electrical components, e.g., visual and completing appropriate documentation as required in accordance with technical instruction,
- specifications, Rules, and International Standards.
- Together with sourcing team monitoring Supplier’s quality.
- Support and actively contribute to maintain and improve defined quality level of products/processes in accordance with legal requirements, Alfa Laval standard/specifications and customer requirements.
- Function as the Final Inspector for the receiving, assembling and function testing, especially for electrical components.
- Review quality documentation from supplier.
- Participate supplier’s audit
- Supervises and perform inspections of the function/alarm test, packing and comply with work instruction /specification /Codes
- Records Inspection Reports and all necessary Reports regarding process control and maintains the files of inspection documents
- Coordinate the workshop inspection with Class society /Customer
- Prepare and follow up Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.
- Perform other duties that maybe assigned by manager
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree or above
- Electrical/Mechanical background as demonstrated by prior experience
- More than 2 years Quality/ Technical experience in marine equipment
- Flexible, able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly and readily
- Motivated towards productivity improvements, quality consciousness and safety awareness
- Ability to think ahead, make decisions, and take appropriate action
- Good English Skills (Writing, Reading, and Speaking)
- Computer Skills - Microsoft Office, ERP
