  Job Description

  You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for the MLRS (M270) vehicle program at Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and we are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team.
  
  What You Will Be Doing
  As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying process variation, sources of waste and nonconformances, and data analysis techniques to create innovative solutions to complex supply chain issues. You will work closely with our multifunctional Integrated Product Teams to provide reviews and updates on quality data and support issue resolution activities. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying process variation, sources of waste and nonconformances, and data analysis techniques to create innovative solutions to complex supply chain issues
  • Ensuring Supplier Quality activities are effective through supporting product line validations and risk management
  • Providing systemic support for issue resolution that involves true root cause, full containment, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Developing technical solutions to complex problems and providing liaison support related to quality engineering matters
  • Ensuring supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfacing with supplier on a daily basis
  • Reviewing documentation related to supplier manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer

  Desired skills

  -Demonstrated experience in Quality department/role (e.g. identifying, documenting, and/or dispositioning quality deficiencies and ensuring effective corrective actions), Manufacturing, or Supply Chain department/role
  
  -Demonstrated experience in project management from idea creation, to team involvement, through execution and closeout of actions
  
  -A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems
  
  -Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
  
  -Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  
  -Demonstrated Leadership, Customer Relationship Management skills
  
  -Demonstrated experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement

  Work Schedule Information

  Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  National Pay Statement

  Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
