  About This Role:

  The Quality Engineer I will provide quality engineering support to ensure delivery of the highest quality product to the customer. They will partner with manufacturing, operations, and project management organizations to integrate new processes into the existing manufacturing area. They will take the lead in addressing quality issues in a dynamic production environment. They will be providing quality support to a production team working on final product in the Capital Equipment environment.

  Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues
  • Support culture of continuous improvement by driving enhancements to existing process controls
  • Proactively investigate, identify, and implement best-in-class Quality Engineering practices
  • Identify and implement effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
  • Act as a team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices
  • Participate in team decision making and display team problem-solving/communication skills

  Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Knowledge of basic Quality Systems and good documentation practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to own and drive process improvements/projects and work cross functionally

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical device field in a manufacturing support role
  • Experience in Capital equipment or final device manufacturing
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify improvement opportunities
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and statistical analysis
  • Familiarity with product/component documentation, inspection and testing, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and SAP
  • Working experience with applying a sound and systematic problem-solving method
