      Responsibilities

      • Responsible for the analysis of product, process, equipment and method issues.
      • Support of supplier product conformance.
      • Provide method design, impact analysis and input to manufacturing engineering and production management.
      • Assist implementation of the ISO 9000 system.
      • Provide equipment capability analysis and qualification input to manufacturing engineering and production management.

      Qualification

      • 4-year college degree or 2-year college degree with 3 years’ experience and/or American Society of Quality (ASQ) or Certified Quality Engineer certification.
      • Strong communication skills and ability to participate in teams.
      • Certain technical skills and training, such as quality tools and techniques, ability to read and understand engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), problem solving skills (8D), process capability theory and statistical process control (SPC) are desired.
      • Up to 25% travel
