The Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading and implementing advanced Quality Engineering initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This will include analyzing program and or process performance (data analytics/trends) to identify risks and support process improvements. In addition to performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and product build surveillance activities.
The position is intended to be a catalyst for Program initiatives to reduce Scrap, Rework, and Repair (SRR) cost, improve Quality Inspection systems, reduce internal and external escapes, and ensure Production/Quality process compliance.
This position supports the C-130 and F-16 Fabrication
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

- Formal Root Cause Analysis experience
- First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Root Cause Corrective Action experience
- Experience leading Continuous Improvement projects - Fabrication experience with plumbing lines
- Inspections utilizing Handy Scan technology
- Audit experience
