Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s level degree or higher in STEM and / or equivalent experience / combined education.
Prior Mechanical or Electrical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
Hands on experience dealing with inspection of hardware and rework / repair of hardware.
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
Demonstrated presentation skills.

Job Description
You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for providing quality engineering expertise to support the program's quality objectives, leveraging your experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures. You will play a critical role in analyzing and resolving process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality products are delivered to customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
• Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging
• Leading program parts review and corrective action meetings
• Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance
• Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology
• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

We are hiring for multiple shifts and multiple schedules, including Second shift and Weekend shift.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Desired skills
Experience with use of manufacturing, inspection gages or measuring equipment.
AS9100 interpretation, application experience, and compliance auditing.
Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
Experience working with Government customers and suppliers in a sustainment environment.
Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
