      Salary Range: $60,778.00 (Min.) - $75,950.00 (Mid.) - $91,166.00 (Max.)

      Job Summary


      The Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist I is responsible for providing project management support to the department's project managers, who may be responsible for department projects and processes. This position analytically identifies resources needed for each project and will work to define roles and responsibilities for these resources and to develop report cards and status updates on project deliverables and project issues. This position will develop reporting sufficient to allow each project team to rapidly assess the current state of their project in relation to timelines and deliverables. This position will work with QI staff to facilitate the updating of relevant policies and procedures. This position will work with different operating units to ensure subject matter experts are available to the project teams when necessary.

      Duties


      Coordinates with various stakeholders within the department and organization to support project activities.



      Disseminates work plans/project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports and presentations. Serves as liaison between the work group and the Business unit.

      Processes member/provider materials through appropriate channels to ensure compliance.

      Facilitates timely review and payment of invoices (with allocation of costs to the appropriate department(s).



      Prepares agendas for meetings, documents key decisions and collaborates with team members to develop project collateral.

      Prepares and maintains project documentation.

      Perform other duties as assigned.

      Education Required

      Associate's Degree
      In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

      Education Preferred

      Experience

      Required:
      At least 0-2 years relevant health care experience.

      Skills

      Required:
      Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot all project issues in a timely manner.

      Excellent interpersonal skills to work alongside other project employees to meet all client specifications and requirements.

      Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

      Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software tools.
