Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support our operations with inbound and in-process inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal engineering and other key stakeholders to prevent quality issues and support continual improvement objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support operations with inbound and in-process inspections and problem-solving to prevent quality escapes.
• Ensure tools are calibrated per IAPMO standards.
• Check manufacturing work and record problems and resolutions in the Quality Management System.
• Execute inbound inspections from suppliers to ensure product compliance; collect process data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from standards.
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection activities.
• Conduct internal manufacturing process and product audits as directed.
• Support quality management system audits.
• Report supplier nonconformances through the Global Supplier Quality reporting system and collaborate with the Global Supplier Quality team to resolve issues.
• Assist with the nonconforming material containment process within the business unit.
• Communicate with the quality department team and internal disciplines to resolve customer quality concerns.
• Participate in projects as assigned by Quality System or Engineering supervision.
• Support the quality department with the Corrective and Preventive Action Process.
• Perform nonconforming material analysis as directed.
• Collect process data and maintain quality records.
• Support continual improvement objectives as assigned.
• Continually learn and successfully execute processes to meet organizational objectives.
• Other projects as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School/GED required
• 5 years experience as a Quality Technician, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork ability

Work Environment

The position is based in a well-lit, climate-controlled warehouse. The work shift is from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
