- Perform in-process and First Article quality control inspections.
- Utilize standard inspection hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, thread gages, and microscopes for visual inspection.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, prints, and specifications.
- Complete, maintain, and organize QA/QC documentation and records.
- Assist in the interpretation and enforcement of manufacturing requirements.
- Adhere to quality control procedures and standards.
- Initiate rejections of non-conforming parts and materials.
- Verify material certifications to specifications and Chain of Custody.
- Conduct receiving inspections from outside processing, including certification review and acceptance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Q.C. environment within the Aerospace Industry.
- Proficient in the use of standard inspection tools.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of AS9100 QA procedures and AS9102 FAI experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in the Aerospace Industry. This role involves performing in-process and First Article inspections, utilizing standard inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and microscopes. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and specifications, maintaining QA/QC documentation, and enforcing manufacturing requirements. Additional duties include initiating rejections of non-conforming parts, verifying material certifications, and conducting receiving inspections. Proficiency in mechanical testing is considered a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates on a first shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with some flexibility for the right candidate. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment inspecting fasteners of various sizes and dimensions daily. A commitment to exemplary attendance is expected.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Hollywood, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
