  About the Role:

  We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you'll ensure our electronic assemblies meet company standards and customer specifications. We're seeking someone with experience in quality control, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate across departments.   Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct inspections of populated PCBs and mechanical parts according to work instructions and IPC criteria.
  • Disposition of nonconforming products and verify that outgoing products meet Spartronics and customer standards.
  • Communicate inspection results to production and management, while maintaining a strong presence on the manufacturing floor.
  • Monitor incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect wire routing and torquing.
  • Assist in troubleshooting non-compliant parts and maintain inspection-related documentation and records.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings for dimensional features and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with production managers on quality assurance checks and participate in procedure training.

  Requirements

  Education, Skills, and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED (required).
  • Associate's degree, technical degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
  • Obtain the J-Std and IPC–600 or IPC–610 certifications within 90 days of employment. (Company provided training.)
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Quality Inspection Standards (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.

  Work Schedule

  • 4-day/10-hour work week
  • Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Overtime: The goal is to limit overtime, but it is a reality in the manufacturing industry.
