Job Description

- Conduct inspections of populated PCBs and mechanical parts according to work instructions and IPC criteria.
- Disposition of nonconforming products and verify that outgoing products meet Spartronics and customer standards.
- Communicate inspection results to production and management, while maintaining a strong presence on the manufacturing floor.
- Monitor incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for compliance with specifications.
- Inspect wire routing and torquing.
- Assist in troubleshooting non-compliant parts and maintain inspection-related documentation and records.
- Interpret mechanical drawings for dimensional features and tolerances.
- Collaborate with production managers on quality assurance checks and participate in procedure training.
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- Associate's degree, technical degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Obtain the J-Std and IPC–600 or IPC–610 certifications within 90 days of employment. (Company provided training.)
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Quality Inspection Standards (preferred).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
- 4-day/10-hour work week
- Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime: The goal is to limit overtime, but it is a reality in the manufacturing industry.
