Job Description
- Req#: 8493
- Visually inspect and classify rejects for finished semiconductor wafers
- Interface with manufacturing on issues found during inspections
- Conduct process audits
- Maintain database of incoming parts characteristics and AQL data bases
- Maintain MRA (material review area) for discrepant parts
- HS Diploma/GED required; AS degree preferred
- 2+ years of microscope inspection of microcircuits to MIL-STD requirements (prefer MIL-STD-883, Method 2010)
- Must be able to interface with operators, technicians, engineers while performing process audits
- Basic understanding of quality terms, definitions and concepts, familiarity with ISO9001 or equivalent
- Must be able to identify/recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution
- Basic calibration knowledge
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and use inspection planning tools
- Must be able to identify and report nonconforming material as well as understand part traceability
- Strong computer skills and have knowledge of data base tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel, data entry into manufacturing systems (e.g., CAMSTAR). Prefer user knowledge of SAP
- Must be willing to work nights on a compressed work week
- Good dexterity (i.e., handle “small” die with a vacuum pencil)
- Auditing (e.g., processes; ESD workstations; etc.)
- Problem solving with corrective & preventative actions
- Good verbal & written communication skills
