      Reports to: Quality Supervisor

      Location: Seattle, WA

      Type: Full- Time

      Schedule: 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 9:00pm - 5:00am)

      Job Summary:

      Visually and functionally inspect aircrafts parts during all phases of processing

      Responsibilities:

      • Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes
      • Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection
      • Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality
      • Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures
      • Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators
      • Conduct internal audits as required Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system Perform other tasks as assigned

      Requirements:

      • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
      • 1 plus years of experience in Inspection
      • Familiar with precision tools'

      Work Environment:

      Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
