Job Description
- Req#: 103602
- Perform all duties with an understanding of the lab’s commitment to quality and customer service as outlined in the laboratory’s ISO 17025-compliant quality management system.
- Supports microbiological analysis and preparation such as, sampling, monitoring of bottling lines for sanitation efficacy, media prep, sterilizing bottles, and saline bottle prep as directed.
- Operates equipment such as auto-titrators, refractometers, densitometers, gas chromatographs, infrared analyzers, and spectrophotometers.
- Performs laboratory instrument calibration and preventative maintenance as required.
- Bachelor's degree with a combined 20 college coursework units of chemistry, biology, and/or microbiology; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years or 4 seasons of paid laboratory experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibilities; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 20 college coursework units of chemistry, biology, and/or microbiology plus 2 years of chemistry/microbiology laboratory experience.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to maintain 3 shift availability (day, swing, and graveyard); required to work overtime when necessary; required to work weekends when necessary
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $24.13 - $32.60 / hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
