- Developing and implementing total quality management strategies to improve overall performance and efficiency of our Production and Retail service teams
- Reviewing and analyzing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Leading the development and implementation of quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Benchmarking and conducting regular audits and inspections to monitor quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Providing guidance and support to staff on quality management principles and practices
- Developing and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures
- Monitoring and reporting on key quality metrics to senior management
- The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in total quality management, with experience in developing and implementing best practices for lean operations and standard operational procedures. They should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results is also essential.
- This position does not have any direct reports but will work with a cross-functional team and with Retail and Production Managers at each location.

- Six Sigma or Kaizen certification (or similar programs)

- Strong budgeting and financial planning skills, including cost control, expense tracking, and lifecycle cost forecasting
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders, clients and vendors
- Must have ability to present technical and financial data in a clear and concise manner to a range of audiences
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.
- Travel to all company locations will be required, as will occasional travel to shows and events.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field.
- Minimum of five years' experience in quality management, preferably within large, big box companies or warehouse environments.
- Strategic focus, with ability to convert strategy into executable plans and drive results.
- Cross-functional work: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and clear, courteous and professional communication.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Budget-management skills and proficiency.
- Must be able to utilize the entire suite of Microsoft Office. Must have familiarity with most types of modern office equipment including copiers, computers, phones and fax machines. Knowledge of online services and the Internet a plus. English fluency is essential. Prefer multi-lingual, but not required.

The Total Quality Manager / Director based in Colton, California will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management and continuous improvement across the organization. This role is focused on developing and implementing TQM policies and programs within our Operations department, conducting inspections, leading quality improvement activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and excellence. This person is a self-starter that can manage time effectively and meet the expectations of KPI's.
