- Manage and lead all aspects of the quality function. Report to management on the performance and state of the Quality Management System (QMS), the risks and opportunities for improvement, and to ensure the QMS conforms to the requirements of the AS9100 Standards. Maintain NADCAP certification.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct Hexcel’s quality control and assurance activities with incoming, in process, testing, and final inspection, to ensure conformance to requirements and standards. Establish and maintain quality policies, objectives and procedures to meet QMS and customer requirements.
- Staff, develop, and lead the quality department team. Work cross functionally to create a strong quality culture while promoting quality as a shared responsibility throughout the organization.
- Manage the audit program for the QMS. Develop and execute the internal audit plan. Coordinate and participate in second- and third-party audits as required. Direct supplier quality audit and improvement efforts. Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the QMS.
- Monitor, coordinate, and lead activities regarding nonconformance control. Ensure the timely containment, segregation and disposition of nonconforming product. Report to management on the status of product and process nonconformities generated internally, from suppliers and customer returns. Oversee and report on the status of Corrective Actions. Assist process owners with RCCA and verification of effectiveness. Work closely with management to identify, monitor and report on KPIs. Develop and maintain the tools, methods and feedback mechanisms for internal quality management (scrap, first pass yield), measurement and validation (gage R&R) and advanced quality (FMEA, Control Plans).
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-level quality function within a manufacturing environment.
- ASQ Certification (CQE or CMQ/OE) is a plus. Experience in AS9100 and NADCAP environment is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Proven leadership and management skills with a technical staff.
- Ability to build positive and credible relationships across the organization. Must demonstrate professional communication both within the organization and with customers at all levels.
- Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines is essential. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a cross-functional team environment is critical.

Hexcel Casa Grande has a great plant culture valuing safety, quality, and working together as a team to achieve strong results. We are looking for someone who enjoys working cross functionally to solve problems, fosters a quality-minded culture, has strong communication skills, and loves a team environment. The Quality Manager will be a member of the Site Leadership Team and will be responsible for providing direction for the quality strategy and managing quality department staff. They will also be responsible for maintaining the AS9100 quality system.
