Change the future with us We are currently looking for a Quality Manager (Electrical Systems) at our project office in Gurugram, Haryana or any of our other regional location. The Quality Manager (Electrical Systems) will report to Deputy Project Director. The job responsibilities of the Quality Manager (Electrical Systems) are as follows but not limited to Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Ensure all products meet stipulated standards as defined by the organization Responsible for establishing and performing inspection, testing and evaluation methods so that products and processes adhere to specified norms Produce specific quality plans, inspection and test plans and procedures Prepare checklist for inspection activities & Inspection as per Siemens standards, drawings, and related specification Critical analysis of technical specifications with buyers before sending to suppliers and ensure suppliers understanding. Participate in kick off meetings with suppliers for critical items Coordinate all Quality and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing Approve the supplier Quality data in accordance with contract Quality plan. Prepare and submit Quality certification to customer, if necessary Support the RCA investigation of Quality incidents. Manage MQI (Major Quality Incident) resolutions Set standards for quality as well as health and safety Producing statistical reports on quality standards Prepare Management Information Reports in quality management Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) Define process and criteria to ensure supplier process capability in co-ordination with engineering and design team Use your skills to move the world forward Graduate in Electrical Engineering Should have at least 5 – 8 years’ experience in quality management field, preferably in electrical systems of Rolling Stock Should have experience of working in intercultural environment Should be proficient in English and Hindi. Knowledge of German language is advantageous Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite and administrative applications Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens This role is based in Gurgaon.
