      Job Title: Quality Manager (2 Year FTC)

      Location: Hybrid working with flexible site locations - Frimley, Samlesbury, Warton, London

      Salary: £60,000+ Depending on experience

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Manage all aspects of the day-to-day management of the deployment of a new Business Management System (BMS) toolset under the direction of the Head of Quality CTIO
      • Manage the deployment plan for the new BMS toolset, ensuring that the User Centred Design (UCD) approach is followed
      • Monitoring and reporting project performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives and proactively manage risks and opportunities to the benefit of the project
      • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the stakeholder groups from each function, maintaining regular communications and managing expectations
      • Proactively encourage and support all function’s stakeholder groups to prepare their data ready for migration to the new BMS
      • Plan and deliver appropriate project deployment communications and engagement for various level across the BAE Enterprise, working with relevant stakeholders
      • Primary contact for engaging with external supplier to organise setup, configuration and training requirements for the new BMS toolset

      Your skills and experiences:

      Essential:

      • Experience within a similar role working on BMS change projects including time, cost & quality management
      • Experience using project management methodologies, Process Development, Process Mapping, Process Control, knowledge of Process Architecture
      • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation with strong stakeholder management experience
      • A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, and the ability to exchange factual information clearly at multiple levels internally and externally
      • Ability to adapt, be flexible and to work within a dynamic, changing environment

      Desirable:

      • Experience deploying IT based systems
      • IT Project Management exposure
      • Demonstrated ability to lead a virtual team
      • Awareness of the User Centred Design (UCD) approach
      • APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent

      We have a 2-year newly created vacancy for a Quality Manager within the CTIO’s Quality Function. Global BMS is a change project implementing a phased rollout of improvements to our Business Management System (BMS) following a User Centred Design (UCD) approach and including the deployment of a new Enterprise wide toolset.
