      We are looking for a:

      QUALITY MANAGER - COLORANT CHROMATICS

      The position is an on-site position to manage the overall plant quality system and product testing.

      WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

      • Oversees the manufacturing-related processes are in control and that all product produced at the facility meets the requirements of the end-use customer.
      • Ensures that products and process changes are made only according to the sequence of activities specified in the MSA/CSA process.
      • Oversees the testing in accordance with Avient Lab Performance Policy and that all product grading is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.
      • Represents the plant and Avient in all aspects of professional dealings with customers, the technology community and the commercial group.
      • Resolves and communicates customer complaints and handles technical and quality questions from internal and external sources.
      • Coordinates investigation and corrective action on all plant-related customer complaints.
      • Assesses training needs and provides training to lab/production employees.
      • Ensures that a sound quality management system is implemented and maintained.
      • Performs various kinds of audit (Safety, ISO9001)
      • Other duties as assigned.

      WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

      • Education in engineering or similar and/or 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
      • Fluent in Swedish and English.
      • Experience in leading teams.
      • Passion for training and guiding others in their projects.
      • Ability to create commitment to quality awareness on the site.
      • Experience in Lean Six Sigma – Continuous Improvement preferred.
      • Trained to Green belt or higher level preferred
