      The Quality Specialist is responsible for generating charts/reports related to quality issues and performance to maintain communication among UGN Team Members and departments. The role will also perform the duties of the Quality Technician as needed, and reports to the Quality Coordinator.

      What you will do for UGN:

      • Maintain CaWeb system.
      • Maintain Document Control process and procedures.
      • Develop yearly TS16949 audit schedule, ensure all audits are completed timely and accurately.
      • Support yearly TS16949 audit.
      • Develop and review PFEMA, Control Plans, and Sample Data Sheets.
      • Support New Model launches and Sample Data collection.
      • Update the ECI board and hold weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
      • Internal approval of check fixtures, die boards.
      • Support Customer activity SP, 8D, investigation.
      • Maintain Gage Track (calibration records).
      • Support Warranty Activity.
      • Maintain 9N (Hold area).
      • Responsible for data and be able to effectively add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
      • Travel as needed to customers and suppliers for knowledge and investigation.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      What you will bring to UGN:

      • One year certificate from college or technical school.
      • 1 -2+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
      • Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public as needed.
      • Experience creating and interpreting data to solve issues.
      • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
      • Knowledge of Gage Track is a plus.
      • Knowledge of QS/150/TS requirements is not required, but a plus.
